⚠️ Content note: This episode includes discussion of grief, loss and traumatic life experiences.
In this episode of Wildly Intentional, Flick and Verity take a slightly different path, blending heartfelt reflection with plenty of laughter and the kind of conversations that happen when two friends sit down with no agenda other than seeing where the chat takes them.
The ladies reflect on some significant anniversaries that have shaped their lives, and how discovering unexpected similarities in their experiences has strengthened their friendship over time. They explore the idea of "trauma bonding" (perhaps not in the clinical sense!) and how shared life experiences can create deeper understanding, connection and support.
But don't worry – this isn't a heavy episode from start to finish.
Verity returns with an update on her evolving camping obsession, which has now progressed from tents to campervans. Unsurprisingly, her enthusiasm continues to outpace her experience, leading to some very entertaining stories. Thankfully, Flick is on hand with actual camping knowledge, practical wisdom and a healthy dose of amusement.
This episode is a reminder that life is rarely one thing at a time. Sometimes the deepest conversations happen alongside the biggest laughs, and sometimes friendship is built through both.

Welcome to Wildly Intentional, the podcast of business owners who refuse to play small.
SPEAKER_01This is where we'll have bold talks, honest conversations and dig into what it really takes to create big breakthroughs in business and in life.
SPEAKER_00We're Verity and Flick, we're two business owners who have built, broken, rebuilt and grown businesses in our own ways.
SPEAKER_01And we're here to share the lessons, the mindset shifts, and the unapologetic decisions that have really helped us to level up.
SPEAKER_00So if you're ambitious, you're gross focused, and you're ready to do business on your own terms, you're in exactly the right place. So let's get wildly intentional. Morning.
SPEAKER_01Hello. Hello everyone. You alright? Yeah, I'm not too bad. I'm not, I'm not too bad. I could be better, I could be worse. But how are you?
SPEAKER_00Thinking lying, liar bums on fire.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, okay, fair enough. I did start with that.
SPEAKER_00I'm okay. It's like I'm fine. Yeah. But what is fine stamp for F-I-E-N, there is something in that. It's a really bad word.
SPEAKER_01Now you're asking me. I'm gonna have to Google that while we're talking because there is something about fine. Hold the line corner while Verity just googles something that you can't recall right now.
SPEAKER_00Anagram for the word fine.
SPEAKER_01So even if anagram is not an acronym rather than an anagram? Acronym it could be, yeah. Is that the right word?
SPEAKER_00I should know this. Acronym. Clearly. No, I can't say that. I was gonna say I can guess I can probably guess what the F stands for. It does. So it's that F. Insecure, neurotic, and emotional. I'm fine. I think it sums it up. Yeah, I'm fine. Well I don't think I'm insecure neurotic, but I am emotional. And I probably agree with the F as well today.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Yeah, I I'll go with the emotional.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Which is us recording a podcast. Right, so tell tell us, come on, because the listeners want to know. I've had many people question me and gone, like, how's Verity getting on with her camping gear? Come on, you talked about this two weeks ago.
SPEAKER_00Amazing. It's going really well. So um we haven't bought anything. Um, we haven't actually even talked about it since. Other than I did bring it up the other day and said, What are we doing with that then, Lisa? Well, we're still thinking about it, aren't we? And I thought, okay, so that means that neither of us are actually thinking about it. Um, we will probably end up two days before the festival next year, panicking that we've got to go and buy a tent, and then realizing that we've had no practice at this and it'll all go wrong.
SPEAKER_01However, however, I'm hanging my head in shame. Like I'm literally head in hands, kind of no, I still want to do it.
SPEAKER_00I do still want to do it. It just hasn't become like I don't know. It was just I was all excited about it, and you know, the shiny penny wore off. However, there is a new shiny penny.
SPEAKER_01Oh dear.
SPEAKER_00It's kind of related. I still want the tent, but I have found another shiny penny that is £76,000. Oh my god. That I haven't quite had the courage to tell my husband about yet. Um, but I really want it, Flick. It's like, oh my god, that is elevating camping to another level. So it is right. Hang on, let me just make sure I get this right because otherwise, like the listeners are gonna be like, no, it's not called that. Um camper van type thing. Yeah, it is right. I saw it, and you know how the universe, once you see one and you like it, is in your mind. So you see them everywhere. I have seen about eight of them in the last two weeks, and I am taking that as the universe saying to me, you need to get one of these. Not that the universe is just, you know, my brain is like in that motion. In fact, I am looking at one right now because somebody in my street has one. I want a Volkswagen ID buzz because they are like, you know, those like um money boxes that you used to get, like proper 70s Volkswagen with the two-tone colours. Well, there's like a modern version with a nod to that, and they are I've never ever been like really excited about a car or any kind of movie vehicle in my life, other than a cruise ship, and it's just beautiful, it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life, and I need to have one. So now I'm thinking, well, that's not going to accommodate all of us, so I still need a 10-man tent to go with it, but I need that camper van in my life. You need a 10-man tent for how many of you? Four slash five. I'll let my kids are princesses, all right? They they've got to have their own rooms.
SPEAKER_01I'm crying here, folks. If you're listening to this, I'm just lost into look, don't don't mind my parade.
SPEAKER_00Okay, I need to find a way to convince my husband to buy me a camper van that is £76,000 because it's got to be new. I don't want any mileage on it, it's got to be brand new because you know, it's I need to be the first owner of this. It even got yellow seat split, it's just so pretty. I need it in my life. I can't afford it, obviously. But it's like, you know, it's beautiful, it's so beautiful. I have even to the point I'm thinking, like, we're buying our house next year, and it's like, buy the house, buy the camper van. I don't know, it's kind of a little bit of a competition going on there. So I could live in that camper van. Is it really a competition? Oh my god, oh my god. No mortgage, I could live in it. Wicked. It's beautiful, honestly. It's the most it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_01I feel like I need to take a screenshot of how I'm looking right now.
SPEAKER_00I don't know how to do that on this laptop. Oh, like that. Let's do that. Yeah, I'll do that. Here we go. Screenshot. That's gonna go out so it's wicked. It's a good screenshot, honestly. It's beautiful. So now I've got to convince him not only to get this £2,000 worth of camper counting equipment, which he was already on the edge about. Now I have to say, well, actually, it's going to be £80,000 because we need the camper van to go with it.
unknownOh my god.
SPEAKER_00It's so pretty. Honestly, if you so go and after this, go and search it, go and look it up. It's BW ID Buzz, and it is just it's rocking, man. It's beautiful.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, I'm gonna be, I'm gonna do my own version of hold the line caller.
SPEAKER_00Go and have a look at it, honestly. But it's got to be the two-tone one. So there's like a yellow one, and there's this beautiful mint green one that's just like oh, it's a bit teal, actually, more than mint green, but bit like the colour of my t-shirt today. Oh god, it's lush, it's absolutely beautiful. Really? What are you seriously not agreeing with me? Are you looking at it and not agreeing? Oh my, what is wrong with you?
SPEAKER_01It looks like it's been smushed.
SPEAKER_00What? You're looking at the right thing.
SPEAKER_01I do camping, right? I do camping, I do not do right camping. Do you want me to share my screen so that you can see the fact of what I'm looking at?
SPEAKER_00I do, I do.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna do we're gonna, you know, we're gonna tell our audience that they're just gonna have to wait for this because we're gonna talk about brand new 71,000.
SPEAKER_00Yes, look at it. Oh, it's just how can you not appreciate that? Do you not think my beautiful thing ever? I saw it, right? I literally saw it in Tesco's car park, and I was like, I have to have one of those. And then I've seen about 10 of them in the last couple of weeks, and I it's the universe saying, Verity, do you really need that house? Honestly, that camper van is calling. Yeah, I love it. Oh, well, that's right away. So we need to find like a new project to work on so I can earn 80 grand really quickly. That would be great. Oh, yeah, we'll have that smashed out by next week.
SPEAKER_01Come on, you know, put our two ADHD brains together.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, it's amazing, honestly. So, yeah, that's my updated camping. So I've now elevated the camping thought process to you've upgraded your goals for what you want to do in business and in life as well. Yeah, I might lose the husband over it, but if I've got my shiny camper van, I'm not sure I'll care that much. I didn't mean it, it did not mean that, it did not mean that. Paul, if you listen in, I did not mean it. I love you. But if you could get on board with this, that would be great.
SPEAKER_01She's got new business adventure. She's got new place to live.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And she's lost her husband. Yeah. But I've got my shiny camper van, so I'm gonna be really happy.
SPEAKER_01Oh, we will.
SPEAKER_00No joking, I don't want to do without my family. Right, I need a poll on this, right? So if anybody's actually gonna join our Facebook group, you have to have a poll, right? So we have to need your we need your opinions because Flick is clearly not on my way back to team. It's like are you team verity, you know, with the VW ID buzz, which is beautiful two-tone, or are you in boring old Flicks camp? Oh, pardon the pun, who doesn't agree with me at all and thinks it's squished, it's not squished, it's perfect. You're being like the bonnet's been like motion. Stop talking. It's just been rude. If I do get that and you insult it, me and you are not gonna be friends anymore because that is gonna be like another child to me. It's gonna be beautiful. It's only gonna be me that is gonna be allowed near it. Everybody else can stay in the tent. I'll be happy in my yellow seats.
SPEAKER_01Although it's no seats, so classy. I need to find photos of the interior now. Beautiful because I can only see the outside. It's gorgeous. Just like perfect. Oh, I've got what I've got a photo with the oh it's got oh hang on, is she coming over? No, because it's got a massive screen in it.
SPEAKER_00What screen?
SPEAKER_01The one I'm looking at, the interior of it. Oh my god.
SPEAKER_00Screen, what kind of screen? What do you mean?
SPEAKER_01Isn't it like a screen in the middle of the the dashboard, like a console?
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, that's alright. That's good. I can watch a film while I'm driving. No, only Joe Kid wouldn't do that either. Do do not do not do that.
SPEAKER_01That is not a recommendation that we have on this podcast for people.
SPEAKER_00I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that, honest. Oh, that's that's my new life board.
SPEAKER_01That is definitely an update to give on you.
SPEAKER_00You know when we said when we were talking about vision boards, I might have to create a vision board just for that. You're just gonna put those for that camper. Yeah, don't want anything else in life, I just want that camper van. That is my new life goal.
unknownWow.
SPEAKER_00And then when everybody winds me up, I can just get in it and drive off.
SPEAKER_01I mean, yeah, there is that. There is the the the escapism.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I I've already escaped. In my head, I'm gone, I'm done.
SPEAKER_01She's away with the fairies. Well, this is gonna be a fun podcast if you're not here. Body, mind, or spirit.
SPEAKER_00I'll get Wi-Fi. Can you put internet in a camper van? Yeah, no, put up outside of an internet cafe. Yeah, it's sorted, be alright. I I get good reception on my phone. I can just like hotspot it. We'll be good. I thought it through, Flick. I've thought it all through.
SPEAKER_01So there you go, folks. Tune in, you know, in in a few months' time when Verity has her camper van.
SPEAKER_00I'd probably see a few years, and um it'll probably like be well gone by then. But you know, it is life over. It is it is it is her new hyperfixation, it is to be continued.
SPEAKER_01We're gonna have to make that like a feature of Verity's camping journey. Yeah because she's still going to the festival that she needs the tent for.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I do. I do need the tent for the festival. Yeah, oh god. Um, and I can't actually take a camper van to that because we booked tent. So if I book camper van, it's a very different price range. So, you know, we have to like I'm gonna have to suck the tent up or but the thing is I'm now less enthusiastic about the tent because I've seen the camper van. I still want the tent, but I want it as an add-on. Yeah, we'll see.
SPEAKER_01Oh dear. I don't even I don't even know what what else we said we were gonna do this podcast.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think to be fair, I think this is gonna be a bit of a random podcast today where it might just be us Nattering because neither of us are really in the mood. It's a rubbish week. Should we talk about why it's a rubbish week and let's get real a little bit?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, um well, it was quite funny because there's several times in that in that whole camper van anecdote or story bit you were going like, well, the universe is telling me this, universe, and obviously I I messaged you the other day, didn't I? And said clearly the universe wanted us to be friends.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, absolutely. I'm not sure it's for the right reasons though, universe. It's like, no, did you really have to do this to us?
SPEAKER_01I mean, I know trauma bonding is a thing between people, but you know, it didn't have to.
SPEAKER_00You didn't have to go through different forms of trauma at the same time.
SPEAKER_01No. So that this was something that we realised for those of you who've listened to our episode um a few weeks ago. Um, so I will be putting trigger warnings on this episode, like I did with that one. Um, just because you know, we are going to be revisiting some of those topics, um, possibly a little bit lighter than we did last time. Maybe we'll go a little bit darker, we'll see how it goes. Um, but yeah, so we realised that actually our uh traumatic dates are so similar, it's quite freaky. Um, just a year apart, aren't they?
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01So yeah. Yep. That well that brought the mood down like what did, yeah.
SPEAKER_00So we are celebrating anniversaries this week.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna use the word celebrating because you know um I'm gonna use acknowledging because it's it's better to acknowledge some of those anniversaries than like try and hide them and and hide from them, I think.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because they were although I quite like the hide from it, if I'm honest. This one's really affecting me. I think uh it gives context. Okay, so uh we talked about a couple of weeks ago. This is um tomorrow is the anniversary that I I found my brother. So tomorrow is like the second anniversary, um, and it's the first anniversary for you. Well, it's been a series of dates, isn't it, for both of us?
SPEAKER_01Because the 10th, which was um earlier in the week, was the anniversary that we think my brother died, and tomorrow is the date that I actually found him, and then with you, so the 10th was the date that I started to bleed. Um, and then tomorrow the 13th will be the anniversary of the date that I found out I was pregnant and was rushed to hospital being told I was gonna die within the next hour. Um and then obviously I have a few days later after that, which is when I have one of the biggest events that I go to every year. I'm gonna be up there, up in Newcastle, um atomic con on the anniversary of the date that I found out I was actually miscarrying. Um, so yeah, it's really a fun week. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Oh, also I'm having hot flushes, so that's really good too. You know, just to like top up, you know, the trauma. It's a new menopausal symptom. It's lovely. I'm really enjoying this one.
SPEAKER_01But you really enjoyed that, you know, and as we're coming into summer and the heat. Um the but you're in Wales anyway, you're in South Wales, so you know.
SPEAKER_00Uh I'll know that we've got a heat wave project protect no, I'll wake a word predicted predicted, thank you, um, this weekend. So, you know, there, shove that in your pipe hole. It's not always raining in Wales. It is raining right now, but it's not always raining in Wales. So, yeah, let's talk about kind of how we do. I am this this one is tempted.
SPEAKER_01It's not that you've even walked away, you like you've learned back from the microphone, so you're like going further backwards.
SPEAKER_00I'm like, come back, come back.
SPEAKER_01Sorry, sorry. Um don't apologize for it.
SPEAKER_00Come on. Don't apologise. Um, yeah, this one is is like obviously this is your first anniversary, and I went through the first one last year. This one's a bit different for me. I'm finding it harder than I did last year, but I think last year I was still kind of in the midst of all the anger and the blame and the setting up the kick that you know took me months and months to get through, and then I decided I didn't want to do anything with it the day that I actually got it authorized. Um, so I think I was really in the midst of kind of just doing anything to face it, whereas this year it feels like more real. And I was um I went for coffee this morning, and in the cafe walked this guy who I swear to God could have been my brother's twin. It was the weirdest thing, and it was just, you know, when you have to double take and it's like but you know, I have done something positive this week as well, and I was a bit insane to organise it. Um, so on Wednesday was work, I'd agreed to do a talk, which came out of the blue. It came out, it was somebody who'd been on one of my masterclasses, and she came to us and requested that I did a talk for um social workers, which was ironic, really, since all of my anger was directed towards them last year. Um, and she wanted it on kind of neurodiversity through a trauma-informed lens, which was a very poignant topic because my brother was just about to get into the stage where he was going to get the diagnosis. Um and we'd been shouting for years that he was neurodivergent, nobody is looking at his cognitive issues. Um, so like on the it was the Wednesday that I was doing the talk, which was the 10th, which is the day that we think he actually died, and um which is the day that an organization was supposed to be going in to see a well, anyway, there's a whole story behind that, but um it didn't actually register with me until Monday that it was on that date, and I was doing a talk to social workers. It just I think somewhere in my brain, I just hadn't acknowledged it at all. And then I was like, Oh my god, I'm actually delivering a talk to social workers about neurodiversity through a trauma-informed lens, which my brother's gonna come into naturally on the day that I think he died because of actions taken by social services. Yeah, I was like, Oh, how's that gonna go? Anyway, I delivered a banging talk and then I cried throughout the afternoon. But what was I think again, I do think it was a universe thing because you know, the kind of feedback from that was one person said that you know, there is only kind of 36 social workers on this call, and thousands need to hear this. And somebody else said, How do we change the system? And those are the kind of conversations that I wanted last year, yeah. So it has got the cogs turning a little bit as well, and I do feel like you know, I made an impact somewhere, I made a little bit of a difference. So if I can just and I in my message, it was if you just go back and look at one person that you're looking after differently, just one person, then that could be 36 lives I've saved today. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So it was like it was like the universe was you gotta do this, and I was dreading it. I was terrified of it, I was really nervous. I've never been so nervous about giving a talk in my life, but it was like this is you know, when you think something is leading, there is something in this, there is so I don't regret it. It was it was good, it was a good talk, it was a good experience, but yeah, it's just been everything's getting to me this week.
SPEAKER_01No, I I totally get it. And once you've had that thought, you could you trying to go, oh I'll just forget about it now. You can't, you you um, so I had you know similar thing in the fact that I hadn't I hadn't acknowledged that you know Atomacon was going to fall on the anniversary of the you know the miscarriage date. I mean, I was actually at Automacon last year when I'd started to bleed. Um obviously I didn't know I was pregnant at that point, so you know it was as I was leaving. Um but yeah, so I hadn't realised the date, and then when I was talking to my husband about, you know, old so last year he came up with me and he went to go and see one of our friends who lives up north while I was actually at Atomicon. Um and so this year I said, Oh, are you gonna do the same thing? You know, are you gonna um come up to to Newcastle with me? And he was like, Oh, well, when is it? And I told him the date, and he went, he just looked at me with a sort of a very sort of not not stern look, but it was a very kind of poignant look, that's the word I was looking for. Um, and he was like, Flick, of course I'm coming with you. Look at the date that it is, and I was like, why? What's what's so significant about that date? And he went, Flick, it's the 16th of June. That's the anniversary, and I went, Oh my god, it hadn't even entered my mind. But since that moment, since he, you know, it has entered my mind, obviously it won't leave my mind now, and it's very much like I have no idea how I'm gonna be tomorrow. I don't know how I'm gonna be next week. It's just and you know, I as I came on to here, it's like I start the conversation, and people say, like, how are you doing? I'm like, Oh yeah, I'm good, and they go, How's business? And I'm like, Yeah, I I mean I have a standard answer of like it's good, it could be better, but definitely could be worse. Like it's you know, you kind of you kind of have to keep going because the alternative is that you don't. Um, but also I don't I think that we need to stop people feeling like they can't acknowledge that those feelings are happening at the time that they are happening, because it's you know, when you run your business, you you are so in it, you're so integral to the business. You can't brush those feelings under the carpet, you can't put the mask on, put the brave face on. Um it's I mean, it's so disingenuous and inauthentic. There you go. I said the word that I don't really like.
SPEAKER_00You did. Well, you added an in at the beginning, so it's alright. Because it's inauthentic. Your hate word is authentic. So we'll just pretend it's not.
SPEAKER_01I've really got to clear this off as a fact. It's not a hate word that I hate.
SPEAKER_00I just hate how overused it is. You just hate Volkswagen ID buzzes. If you get a yellow one, you have to call it Bumblebee, right? Yeah, like no, but I'm not gonna get it. I want the teal one. It's really pretty. I like the teal one. We want the yellow 17 70s flowers in them as well. I'm gonna have some sunflowers in it or something. It's gonna be really pretty. Look how much I'm visualising it. I'm putting it out to the universe.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna get you one of those little daisies for on the dash that you know, like the petals and the things bubble. Is it the one that bobs?
SPEAKER_00And smart, yes, I want one of those. Yeah, absolutely. That's what I want. Look how we changed the subject though.
SPEAKER_01I just wanted to get an animal reference by calling it bumblebee.
SPEAKER_00I'm not averse to the you know, bubble beef. I did go for the yellow one, but I think it I think it'll be the teal. I think it'll be the teal. But I do quite like the yellow as well, so you know, it could be. You never know. But then the tent's green, so you know it's got it's gotta match the tent. Because the tent's got to be pretty too. I don't know whether we've got like, you know, we've been going 20 minutes, and I'm gonna be really honest. I'm not sure if there's any real benefit to this podcast today, other than you know, we just acknowledging, we just acknowledging the milestones because it is important to acknowledge them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you know, that I think that's that was that my point? Was that what have you done now? I dropped my fan.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I just pulled a face for those who can't see why it's looking rather than.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna be doing more reels and stuff for these podcasts, so that face is going to the reels if my face will be heading the hands is going.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah, I think you know, we can we can have a little bit of a pointless podcast talk, I think, because I think this week is just that's the kind of mood we're in. But it is, you know, if you are in business or even if you're in the workplace, I think you do need to acknowledge when things are happening and things are there's anniversaries and you're not gonna feel great all the time, and that's okay. It's just don't hide, don't hide from it, you know, be authentic in you and all of that. I have no enthusiasm at all today. And it's probably why you code onto the camper van because that's the only thing that's making me enthusiastic.
SPEAKER_01You barely like uh you barely made eye contact with the screen to look at me throughout the no, I haven't. She's like, I don't know where this is going, Flick, so I'm just gonna let you roll with it while I just play with my fan or my fidgets or whatever it is that's done. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Actually, ironically, this fan I bought at the festival. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01This is the the festival that you're taking the camper van to the tent to.
SPEAKER_00The tent to. I can't take my camper van. I'll miss it for that weekend. Are you going airbeds or camp beds? Oh my god, airbeds every time. The camp bed will probably collapse from under me. Not necessarily. Yeah, seriously. I'm gonna need to lose the shed load of weight before a camp bed will take me.
SPEAKER_01No, they won't. They're they're they're really good. Are they? I'm looking to get upgrades for a camp bed. Um, I have an airbed when I'm camping with Rob, because we have a double airbed and a double sleeping bag, so we are actually, you know, not in separate pods.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I'm not gonna be in a separate pod for my husband, it's just no, it's in like the sleeping bag, so like when you're in your separate sleeping bag stuff. Um sleeping bag stuff. I don't know where I was going with that. Um, but yeah, so we have a double sleeping bag. Um, but then there are some camps that I go on uh where Rob's not there and we don't currently have a single air bed, so it's like do we just get a single camp bed that we know will take up less space than probably another air mattress or airbed or whatever you want to call it. Really? What do they like fold up? Yeah, camp beds fold up really small. Oh, do they?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Oh perhaps I'll have a look at that then. I just I kind of feel like are they not gonna dig into the sides and stuff?
SPEAKER_01No, they're cool they're they're quite good.
SPEAKER_00Oh, maybe I'll have a look. I don't know, I didn't even considered it, I just thought it'd be airbed all the way. But we have got away those like snazzy airbeds that's about six feet off the ground.
SPEAKER_01You're not going camping, you're going glamping.
SPEAKER_00No, no, I am going camping because I will be in a tent, not a pod thing. I'll be in a tent with sleeping bags and cooking things. So it will be camping, not glamping.
SPEAKER_01Are you sure? Yeah. I cannot wait to see this tent. I would really cannot wait to see the video of you putting this tent up.
SPEAKER_00Chat up, it'll be fine. It's gonna be inflatable. We're going for the inflatable, by the way. Not not the inflatable, the um, oh sugar. It's just nearly taking itself out with a fan. That was your coffee moment there. Um, it's you know, it's got like um inflatable bits, so it kind of blows up in the middle, so all you've got to do is like park it, stab it into the ground, and done. That's that's what we're going with. We had a chat, we had a chat with somebody who said they're not as weak as people think they are. So it'll be fine. No, they're not, they're just they're just more awkward if you get a puncture.
SPEAKER_01Whereas polls, you can just get a replacement.
SPEAKER_00But I'm not gonna get a puncture, am I? So I think on the negative now, Flick. I'm obviously not gonna get a puncture. No, no, no, realistically, I've been having this. I've been demanding. It's gonna be perfect, especially with my VW buzz. We're rambling, should we just leave it there? There's no wild words of wisdom. It's just a crappy week, and you know, we've just got to keep going and just you know, acknowledge it. We've acknowledged it, we've showed up. Every way, we've showed up, which is you know keep showing up.
SPEAKER_01Here you go. We've showed up, we've been we've been honest, we've been truthful, and yeah, I've got to come up with a title for this episode.
SPEAKER_00Is that a good title? Trigger warning, not feeling it today. Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_01See how it goes.
SPEAKER_00Oh, do you want to know about do you remember a couple of weeks ago you had um a we had a conversation about ADHD and how rejection sensitivity comes into it and meeting things and everything? And I said that I did a message from my um yeah, director saying that she wants to meet in no context whatsoever. Um, so I went into that meeting. You know how I was like stressed about it, and I was like, oh my god, I'm getting fired, because I genuinely thought, or what have I done wrong? I'm getting fired. No, I got promoted. So that meeting with no context was actually just about a promotion. So, you know, there you go, folks. It was a good meeting, didn't you? It was. I was still on the next one think I'm getting fired every single time, it'll never change. But hey no, that one was a good one. There you go. Sorry, folks, no words of words. No, we don't say we're not, we're not sorry. We showed up. It is what it is. Bit of bit of a you're not very good at this not apologizing thing. I'm not, I'm really bad. It's I apologize for everything. I do, I've got to stop. You apologize for everything as well.
SPEAKER_01Maybe maybe we should do an episode as to why we record it, not no apologies, and and why we are setting ourselves up.
SPEAKER_00Because we're so bad at it, and we're trying to stop apologising.
SPEAKER_01Maybe that's maybe that's next week's episode.
SPEAKER_00We'll find out. Yeah, I think the truth is coming out, Flip. Do you know what I mean about why we started this? The real S is coming out. Oh, I don't know. It's random today. Sorry, folks. No, I'm not sorry. I'm not sorry. Oh my god. Just press stop. Just press stop. See you next time, folks.
SPEAKER_01I don't need to recognize rescue Marity from any more apologies. Just stop recording.
